I haven't blogged in such a long time and so many wonderful things have happened. It seemed like just a few months ago we found out we were expecting and now it could be any day. We are so excited to welcome Claire into our family we have been working on her room and think we have the major parts finished.
It was kind of a shock when we picked the baby furniture up from the store and Tim stayed up to put it together to find out it was the wrong crib. It took another 6 weeks to get the right one in but we love it. I'm so glad it made it here before she did. Here are some other pictures of her room.
It has been so much fun picking out clothes, organizing and getting things ready. We have had the priviledge of seeing her everyother month at her ultrasounds. We didn't expect to get extra pictures but she has been taking her time gaining weight so the doctor has been keeping an eye on her. The last one we got on January 10 she was almost 6 pounds so I'm guessing 7lbs but you never know. Who would have thought Ben would have been such a big baby. As for me I thought I had been really lucky this whole time with minimal pregnancy symptoms but I think I'm beginning to understanding what people have been talking about. I have been getting bigger by the week and have had some swelling in my feet and hands the last few weeks. I had to put the wedding ring away a few weeks ago. It's crazy how big she feels and Tim has a fun time feeling her move. Here are a few picks of me at 24 weeks and 36 weeks.
I think I have changed the most in my face. It seemed like it showed up out of the blue and has continued to change every week. I'm trying to be better at taking pictures especially after she is born. We feel so blessed for all the great things that have come our way this last year. We have had so much support with Claire on the way and we want to thank everyone who came to the baby showers and for my Mom and Hailey, Natalie and Debbie, and the girls at work for putting in the time to throw me wonderful showers. We are so excited to be parents.
