Everyother year we do dinner early with my family. My sister goes to her in laws so we get together the week before thanksgiving and have our pre dinner.
The kids had there own table this year but there wasn't a lot of dinner being eaten!
We made turkey shirts for the kids ahead of time so they could be festive but by the end of the night Claire had no feathers left on her shirt.
Grandma did apple turkeys as a craft project but Claire was more worried about the sucker rather then the project.
The kids had ice cream cones for dessert, they love playing together
